Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has admitted his side’s performance was not deserving of their win over Brighton and was fit with the 0-0 draw.
The Spaniard said: “In the first half we tried to win the game. They offer a very aggressive game. We try hard to squeeze the area. And that leaves us in trouble. because there are many transitions And there are situations one-on-one that we cannot deal with.”

“We improved a bit in the second half. And there were a couple of times that would have given me a golden opportunity.”
“We got the points today because we defended the last 15-20 meters very well. I think for the rest there are still a lot of things we need to make the team better.”
“I’m worried about the way we play. We didn’t make the right decisions.”
“Aubameyang’s header was probably the only chance in the first half. And we unfortunately can’t. I don’t think we deserved to win this game. We are always right for the results. The form we played today has to improve.”
“We’ve only conceded one goal in the last five games, which is optimistic. Now we have to focus on what we are good at. and work on what we need to improve.”
